Or the largest group are people who watch video with the sound off at work. Thatamp;#39;s huge. I keep the captions on because it helps me to reinforce what Iamp;#39;m hearing by reading along. Itamp;#39;s also great for people who are speaking English as a second language. Lots of times you can read before you can speak or understand spoken English. So, it helps having the captions there. Step 1: In the File tab, click options. Step 2: In the Excel options dialog box, click trust center settings in the trust center option. Step 3: In the macro settings option, select enable all macros. Click Ok to apply the selected macro settings.
Click Review Share Workbook. On the Editing tab, select the Allow changes by more than one user check box.
Here are the steps to do so: Click on the chart to select it. Click on the Insert tab in the ribbon. Click on the Text Box button in the Text group. Draw a text box on the chart where you want the subtitle to appear. Type the subtitle text into the text box.
Ensure the Excel file is not open in any other location. Check that you have the appropriate permissions to edit the file. Verify that your file isnt corrupted. Ensure your Excel software is updated.
Add or edit a chart title Click anywhere in the chart to show the Chart tab on the ribbon. Click Format to open the chart formatting options. In the Chart pane, expand the Chart Title section. Add or edit the Chart Title to meet your needs. Use the switch to hide the title if you dont want your chart to show a title.
Re: Excel file locked for editing Open the workbook. Go to the Review tab. Click on Share Workbook in the Changes group. Uncheck the Allow changes by more than one user at the same time option. Click OK.
Enable or disable Edit mode Click File Options Advanced. Under Editing options, do one of the following: To enable Edit mode, select the Allow editing directly in cells check box. To disable Edit mode, clear the Allow editing directly in cells check box.
If you have received the message The document is locked for editing by another user when attempting to edit an Excel file, it could be due to one of the following reasons: The Excel file is password-protected. Microsoft Excel didnt close properly, and the owner file wasnt erased.
