Hello and welcome to the EMEA Online Virtual Summit. My nameamp;#39;s Steve Bryen, and Iamp;#39;m a Developer Advocate in our AWS Developer Relations Team based out of the UK. All my details are on the slide there. Feel free to contact me and happy to receive feedback on the session or any questions that you may have. Now, this session is about scaling permissions management with attribute-based access control. Now, what does that mean? That means that weamp;#39;ll talk about how you can use identity and access management in AWS to scale your permissions to allow you to docHub multiple users or projects or complex user scenarios in your environment without having to worry too much about hard coding parameters in there, so we use attributes or tags in AWS to do that. So letamp;#39;s dive into it. The first thing is I want to recap some IAM knowledge. I just want to make sure that everyone watching, we spend the first five or so minutes just recapping IAM, what the terminology is so w

Attribute index names For example, an index on a table of addresses might be called ADRSAPKIDX, where ADRS indicates this index is on the address table, APK denotes the column being indexed, and IDX makes it obvious this is an index.
An attribute either modifies the default functionality of an element type or provides functionality to certain element types unable to function correctly without them. In HTML syntax, an attribute is added to an HTML start tag.
The HTML data-* attribute allows storing custom data for elements, enhancing interactivity in web applications through JavaScript without server-side involvement or AJAX calls. The data-* attributes can be used to define our own custom data attributes. It stores custom data in private to the page or application.
Examples of data attributes include numerical values (e.g., age, height), categorical labels (e.g., color, type), textual descriptions (e.g., name, description), or any other measurable or qualitative aspect of the data objects.
data-* attributes allow us to store extra information on standard, semantic HTML elements without other hacks such as non-standard attributes, or extra properties on DOM.
When we want to set a new value for a data attribute, we can use the same JavaScript function that wed use for setting any built-in HTML attribute: setAttribute() . // We can set our data attribute to 4 element. setAttribute(data-badges, 4);
Attribute dimensions can have a data type of text, numeric, Boolean, or date that enables different functions for grouping, selecting, or calculating data. The attribute type applies only to level 0 members of the attribute dimension.
In C#, you specify an attribute by placing the name of the attribute enclosed in square brackets ( [] ) above the declaration of the entity to which it applies. [Serializable] public class SampleClass { // Objects of this type can be serialized. }
