Just follow these few steps to get rid of the visible border! Start by picking the text box you want to change. Then, go to the Format tab at the top of your screen. Click on Shape Outline and select No Outline. This takes away the border.
To delete a text box from PowerPoint, select the PowerPoint text box and then right-click on it to open up the dropdown menu. Choose Delete, and that particular PowerPoint text box and its border will be removed from the page. Its as simple as that!
To adjust the transparency of the shape, click More Fill Colors. At the bottom of the Colors dialog box, move the Transparency slider, or enter a number in the box next to the slider. You can vary the percentage of transparency from 0% (fully opaque, the default setting) to 100% (fully transparent).
