You can use the formatting options available on the Home tab to format text. Tip: Use the back and forward arrows on the Home tab to undo or redo a change. Change the font: Select some text and then tap the font name box. Choose a font from the drop-down list.
Step-by-step guide to getting Microsoft Word back to normal view: Click the View tab. Select Document Views in the dropdown menu. Choose Print Layout in the Document Views section. Your Word document should be back to its regular view.
One way to start fresh is to select the entire document (Ctrl+A) and then press Ctrl+Q to remove all explicit paragraph formatting and then press Ctrl+Space Bar to remove all explicit character formatting.
