I feel like I should go like oh my god how many more days of this as we continue our week-long wedding the dos and donts for a wedding guests and brides and grooms so today weve got one for everybody but Im starting with the brides after you make your guest list you have to move on to your invitations there are so many options these days do you use a local small business do you buy online and how do you ask people to get back to you so our expert says she understands people are trying to save money any way they can when it comes to weddings but she thinks there is one thing that you should not skimp on that is a response card recently some couples are having people RSVP online and while it seems like something easy to do she says you might end up alienating some of your guests because theres people out there believe it or not that dont have computers or you have elderly people that dont have computers and then they have to rely on somebody else to take care of their stuff for t

A save the date is not the same thing as an invitation (theres no reply card, so the recipients arent expected to RSVP at this stage). However, anyone who receives a save the date should receive an invitation eventually.
Its ultimately up to you, but for guidance on how to invite different kinds of guests, read on. Single guests can be addressed simply with their first and last names, or with a singular title, if preferred. If youre extending an invitation for a plus one, add and Guest after their full name.
You can also save the reply cards for later. Save the Date etiquette does not include asking guests to reply back with a RSVP. Save the Dates are sent out to let guests know about the key details of your wedding, and you dont need to ask about their availability quite yet.

You should include phrases such as accepts with pleasure or declines with regret, or opt for more informal response options. You can also add a number attending line so that people can specify whether or not they are bringing their children.
