hello fellow scratchers have you made a great scratch game but felt it was let down by using scratchs built-in variables for the score or timer yeah weve all been there well worry no more because today i will be showing you how we can dispense with those and replace them with something a lot more awesome oh yeah come on the concept is pretty straightforward we need to have the digits 0 through 9 as costumes of our sprite and then we add a little code in to handle the rest and thats what im here for so guys without delay lets get scratching well begin with a fresh new project and quickly mock up a simple clicker game we just need a score variable for all sprites there it is and then when this sprite is clicked we change score by one wow this is about as basic as it gets right we click our cat and the score increases job done but gosh it would all look so much better without this boring generic variable reporter its so small and uninspiring i mean we could double-click the score
