hello i sped this video up um its a something i made for students in a workshop and it went about two hours and its a portrait study i did of myself from a photo oil on paper thats arch oil paper um taped with artist tape to a piece of foam core and thats a palette made by new wave palettes its kind of enameled over wood and i just have it stuck up on my big giant easel so you can see me mixing so i like to wash this paper with a 50 oil terp medium 50 or 60 oil you can use that lavender spike oil if you want something non-toxic [Music] so theres many reasons why i like washing the paper like this it gets me into it its relaxing its kind of an abstract just experience with colors and shapes and tones and it just doesnt have to stay its not about the end result its kind of an entryway into um the creative process you can see i probably referenced i didnt think about it too hard but reference those leafs leaves behind me on the shower curtain thats a selfie i took in my bathr
