The Sheet Issue Date is populated with a default value of the day the sheet was created in the form MM/DD/YY. However, the Sheet Issue Date parameter is a free-form text field, and does not maintain restrictions on the content to a particular date format.
Solution: Open your Autodesk Account. Go to the Products and Services tab on the left. Under Revit, Select View Details. Select your version of Revit. Go to Extensions. Download the Revit Issues add-on. Ex: Issues Add-In v5. it. Launch Revit. The Issues tab should now appear within the application interface.
In Revit, click the Issues tab Issues to open the Issues panel. Issues are displayed on 3D models as push pins, and all issues, created on 2D or 3D models, are listed in the panel. Tip:Click Refresh in the Issues panel to load any changes to issue data, and sync between Autodesk Docs and Revit.
Issues are used by teams to identify and communicate areas of concern or improvement within a model. Note: A model can be published to Autodesk Docs via Revit Cloud Worksharing, Cloud Models for Revit or Desktop Connector.
Solution: To set the Revision so it will show on the sheet: From the View tab Revisions. In the Numbering drop down, select Alphanumeric or Numeric.
Building Design: Revit is commonly used for designing buildings and creating 3D models of architectural designs. It allows architects to create detailed building designs, visualize the project in 3D, and produce detailed documentation and construction drawings.
Typically you manage the revision process as follows: Enter information about the revision in the Sheet Issues/Revisions dialog. Update the Revit project to implement the change. In one or more project views, draw revision clouds to indicate the areas that changed. Assign a revision to each cloud.
