Change primary email On your computer, go to your Google Account. On the left navigation panel, click Personal info. Under Contact info, click Email. Select Google Account email. If you cant open this setting, it might not be possible to change your email or username.
You can add a non-Gmail email address to your account and use it to sign in, recover your password, and more. In your Google Account, open the Personal info tab. Under Contact info, select Email. Under Alternate emails, click Add alternate email. Enter an email address you own and select Add.
Conclusion. Google Docs only allows a Google account only to log in but to access Google Docs by a non-Gmail account you have to create a Google account first by using your existing Gmail.
What is an alternate email address (email alias)? An alternate email address, also called an email alias, is a forwarding email address that an admin adds to a users primary email address. Messages sent to the email alias automatically route to the users primary email accounts inbox.
When you create a Google Account, you automatically get a Gmail address. But if youd rather use another email address to sign in, you can link a non-Gmail email address to the account and use it to sign in, recover your password, get notifications, and more.
In the From user section, enter the current owners email address and select the user from the results. For the To user, enter the new owners email address and select the user from the results. Click Transfer Files.
Google Accounts dont have to use a gmail.com address. You can associate any existing email address with a Google Account. Alternatively, files can be shared with non-Google accounts using visitor sharing. Learn how to Share documents with visitors.
