What is undo space?

Undo tablespaces contain undo logs, which are collections of records containing information about how to undo the latest change by a transaction to a clustered index record. Undo logs are stored in the system tablespace by default but can be stored in one or more undo tablespaces instead.

What is undo data?

The original copy of the modified data is called undo data. Saving this information is necessary for the following reasons: To undo any uncommitted changes made to the database in the event that a rollback operation is necessary.

Does the drop command use undo space?

Contrary to DELETE, we cannot undo the effects of the DROP command on the data. Table space is released from memory via the DROP command because the table and its contents are permanently deleted.
