You can undo and redo up to 20 of your last typing or design actions in Access. To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z. To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y.
If the Undo method is applied to a form, all changes to the current record are lost. If the Undo method is applied to a control, only the control itself is affected. This method must be applied before the form or control is updated.
Because Access saves updates to data automatically, if you make a mistake and dont catch it right away, chances are you wont be able to use Undo to correct it. Access also cant undo many actions.

When you enter information into a form in Access, the data goes exactly where its supposed to go: into one or more related tables. While entering data into simple tables is fairly straightforward, data entry becomes more complicated as you start populating tables with records from elsewhere in the database.
You can use the Now function or Date function to have Access automatically fill in the date or time when a new record is added. Use the Now function to fill in the date and time, or the Date function to fill in just the date.
