If you havent closed the amended file, you could use repeated Ctrl+Z (Undo) to restore the file to previous states.
You can remove blank pages in Writer using the following options. Option 1: Place the cursor at the beginning of a blank page and click backspace or delete. Option 2: Place the cursor at the end of the page before the blank page that you want to remove and press delete.
Undo an action You can press Undo (or Ctrl+Z) repeatedly if you want to undo multiple steps.
One is to go to Tools - Customize, choose the Tool Bars tab and the Standard tool bar and click the button at the lower right that says something like Restore.
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z. To redo an undone action, press Ctrl + Y. The Undo and Redo features let you remove or repeat single or multiple typing actions, but all actions must be undone or redone in the order you did or undid them you cant skip actions.
In the sample code below, CTRL+Z triggers an Undo action. CTRL+Y and CTRL+SHIFT+Z both trigger a Redo action. Redo is used if the user changes their mind about an undo action--Redo is basically a way to undo the undo action.
Ctrl+M - Removes direct formatting from the selected text or objects (as in Format Clear Direct Formatting).
