How can we change the spacing before and after a paragraph in WPS Writer Open the document with WPS Office for Windows. Select the paragraphs that you want to change, click Home or Page Layout Settings Paragraph Under Spacing, click the Before and After boxes to change the spacing.
Step 1: Select the text that requires adjustment. Step 2: Right-click on the selected text or use the shortcut key Ctrl+D to open the Font function. Step 3: In the Font Dialog Box that appears, choose Character Spacing. Step 4: Inside the Spacing box, select either Expanded or Condensed based on your preference.
Open your file in WPS Office. Put the cursor in the paragraph you want to adjust. In the Home tab, click decrease indentor increase indent ing to your needs. Also, you can use shortcut keys to adjust quickly, with Shift+Alt+,or Shift+Alt+. respectively.
Click anywhere in the paragraph you want to change. Go to Layout, and under Spacing, click the up or down arrows to adjust the distance before or after the paragraph.
To adjust paragraph spacing, select the paragraph(s), go to the Home tab, click Line and Paragraph Spacing, and choose Add Space Before Paragraph or Remove Space After Paragraph from the drop-down menu. For precise control, select Line Spacing Options to fine-tune spacing before and after each paragraph.
WPS special paragraph layout tool is a distinctive feature in Writer. You can adjust paragraphs in seconds just by dragging them. The Paragraph Layout tool provides the functions of paragraph spacing, line spacing, and indentations.
Option 1 Open the document we want to edit in WPS Writer. Select the needed text. Right-click to select Paragraph in the popup drop-down menu. In the popup Paragraph dialog box, select Indents and Spacing and then choose alignment as Left in General. Finally, click OK.
To change the orientation of one page in WPS, place the cursor at the beginning of the page and select Landscape from the Orientation group on the Page Layout tab. To change the orientation of multiple pages, select the pages and then select Landscape from the Orientation group.
