hey good evening folks this is Steve cap5 Jay what I hope everyones doing okay out there this weekend todays video I want to go over programming a 10 meter repeater and the one Ive picked out is one and New York its actually located in the Catskill Mountains its kilo Quebec 2 Hotel so what Im going to do is Im going to go over a couple of things on the radio kind of a quick review of how to program repeaters but I want to show you a couple of things too so the first thing well do is uh Ive got the radio in memory mode right now and Ive also got my vfo locked so that I dont accidentally change the frequency so what Im going to do is Im going to go ahead and go to vfo mode and Im going to press the VM button once and now what Im going to do is Im going to press the mode and Im going to click FM then Im going to go to band and Im going to press enter and Im going to enter 0 2 9 6 2 0 0 0 0 0 and Im going to press enter all right theres already some activity going on
