the opposite of the concatenate formula which brings things together is the split function which actually splits things up based on something in that cell so lets say I had just last name comma first name and I want to split it up so I got first name last name so I go into a cell it equals in split parenthesis they wants to know what am i splitting up some ways Sam I split up that cell and the delimiter is what am I whats the thing thats indicate that should break it up and so I may put it in quotation marks the comma and I hit enter so you see how it split up rawson and then Kyra now one thing if I click in here because there was a space right after the print the comma theres a space right here so I mean all it did is figure out where to about that comma and it split murmurs to the left separate photos right now if there was lets say I go into this last name real quick and at that you see it break it up again but again because theres a space after the comma that space goes in r
