welcome to another todds two minute tip tuesday brought to you by the national rv training academy the only academy that gives you the credentials to become a certified tech and or certified inspector on this weeks tip lets go ahead and summarize how to de-winterize your rv all right so now lets cover we covered the roof weve covered the water heater now lets get into the slide-out seals and maybe even some of the suspension ready to go ahead and get your slides out whats been going on all that time got some cold air got some rain some snow everything else dirt and what we want to do is go ahead and put a uv protectant around our slides so when your slides are out fully extend to get yourself an a-frame ladder okay and you want to get yourself a good uv protectant two types out there you can just get a dry silicone or you can get some dry protectant uh thats actually ptfe which is just the generic brand for teflon now when i say dry make sure it does stay dry what it is dry is
