To insert slide headers, footers, and page numbers on the insert tab, select header and footer. Toggle on or off the options such as date and time and footer. For footer, enter text for example hello. We can apply it to the single slide or to all slides. Notice the footer and date appear on each slide depending on the layout configuration of each slide.

To insert headers and footers, you click INSERT, Header & Footer, make sure Slide is selected, and choose your options. These include Date and time, a date and time format, and whether to show the current date or a Fixed one. You decide if you want to show Slide number and include a text Footer.
Click INSERT > Header & Footer. On the Slide tab, check Footer. In the box below Footer, type the text that you want, such as the presentation title.
On the Insert tab of the toolbar ribbon, select Header & Footer. The Header and Footer dialog box appears. In the Header and Footer dialog box, select the Notes and Handouts tab.
Add headers & footers On your computer, open a document in Google Docs. In the top left, click Insert. Header & page number. Choose Header or Footer. Enter text for the header or footer.
Add a section In Normal view, in the thumbnail pane, click the slide that will be the first slide of the section. , and then click Add Section. In the Section Name box, enter a name for the section, and then click Rename. To add more sections, select a new starting slide for the new section and repeat steps 2 and 3.

When we talk about headers and footers in a presentation, we mean the small details near the top or bottom of your slides. These include the slide number, a text footer, and the date. Headers and footers appear in various positions, depending on the theme and the slide layout.
Click VIEW > Normal, and click the slide you want to change. ... Click INSERT > Header & Footer. Click the Slide tab, make the changes you want, and click either Apply to apply the changes to the selected slides, or Apply to All to make the changes to all the slides.
To insert a footer or header to an individual slide, go to Insert > Text box. Drag the box over the area you want the footer or header text to show. Enter text and adjust the font, color, and style ing to need.
Step 1: Open Google Slides and navigate to the slide where you want to put the header and footer. Step 2: Select the 'Text' box from the toolbar. Then, click and drag on the slide to create two text boxes. Step 3: Enter content for the header and footer now.
