so i did a video on how to do this a while back years ago actually but um since then ive got better making videos better audio quality and better camera so i thought id do it again how to lay out a uh roundwood or how i lay out a roundwood uh timber frame tenon so this log has got multiple bends in it in all directions so i have to choose which way around id like it to sit within the frame so ive chosen that and its sitting with the curve going outwards so the curve will sit not sticking out of the frame or into the frame but to the side of the frame so thats now a reference point and then gonna dangle a string over here were now to create a square reference within this wonky timber well do that with the streamline all right so as you can see thats now dangling i mark that i put a little saw turf in it for my string to sit in in there like that now that is a reference line now were going to do the same thing on the other end and then we will flip the log over 90 degrees all
