[Music] hey whats going on guys so one of my patrons asked me to create a project that was similar to like a PowerPoint presentation website so instead of reinventing the wheel and creating this from scratch were actually going to use an open-source project called web slides which is really cool we just need to include a CSS file and a JavaScript file and we can create these really cool HTML presentations so were gonna build this Travis e-media bootcamp presentation which obviously is a fictional bootcamp and this is the landing page we have the big logo background and some text and a button and down here you can see we have some arrows so we can go to the next page and websites gives us a bunch of really nice utility classes that will give us you know cards and shadows and all kinds of stuff the grid system so this this page here this slide uses the grid we have two columns this next one has three we have these little cards with the bounce effect so this one here bootcamp projects

Each XHTML page must have a title element. A title should be short and descriptive, because the text appears in the title bar of the browser window, and more importantly, is used in search engine results. A title cannot contain formatting, images, or links.
XHTML combines strength of HTML and XML. Also, XHTML pages can be rendered by all XML enabled browsers. XHTML defines quality standard for your webpages and if you follow that, then your web pages are counted as quality web pages. The W3C certifies those pages with their quality stamp.
Definition and Usage. The element is a container for metadata (data about data) and is placed between the tag and the tag. Metadata is data about the HTML document. Metadata is not displayed.
The XHTML documents contains three parts, which are discussed below: DOCTYPE: It is used to declare a DTD. head: The head section is used to declare the title and other attributes. body: The body tag contains the content of web pages.
The head tag is an element in HTML files that can contain metadata (data about data) and script calls. The head tag is placed between the opening and tags at the beginning of the HTML file. The metadata in the head tag is not displayed, but the information is used by browsers and by search engines.
head is the tag at the top of your page containing your meta-tags, styles, scripts and title. headings are the h1, h2, h3 etc tags that allow you to size your text. a is an anker usable in the url for navigating to other pages or as in-page navigation.
Markup: elements, attributes, and values Because the markup is text, the document is universally readable. XHTML has three main types of markup: elements, attributes, and values. Elements identify document structure and can contain text, other elements, or nothing at all.
markup language for creating web pages Based on HTML (HyperText Markup Language) legacy technology of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) XHTML 1.0 Allows only a documents content and structure to appear in a valid XHTML document, and not its formatting Formatting is specified with Cascading Style Sheets.
A HTML/XHTML document consists of head section and body section. The head section ( ) provides information (e.g., description, author, and keywords) of the HTML/XHTML document that is not displayed, whereas the body section ( ) provide actual contents to be displayed.
XHTML was developed to make HTML more extensible and flexible to work with other data formats (such as XML). In addition, browsers ignore errors in HTML pages, and try to display the website even if it has some errors in the markup. So XHTML comes with a much stricter error handling.
