hi everyone in some Facebook groups I'm in I see a lot of questions about how do i shade you know what's the best way to start how do I add in shadows I have no idea how to do this how are people doing this so what I thought I'd do is I'd give you some very beginning exercises to help conceptualize shadows and shading and where you would put shadows and where pieces of your images will be darker this is just very very basic easy anybody can do this these little exercises they're not gonna look like coloring tutorials right away but they will definitely help you in your coloring one thing that I used to do as a kid that I think really helped me know where to place my shadows was I used to try to create block letters by just drawing their drop shadows so I would draw just a drop shadow of a block letter and then it would kind of imply the shape of the letter so what I mean by that is I would draw something that looks a little bit like this then we create these 3d letters drawn just by t...
