hi this is jared from photo to canvas and todays quick tip is about fixing a damaged canvas now in case your canvas gets a little dent from leaning against something anything like that or it is just slightly loose if its a really old canvas and its just kind of stretched out and its not very tight anymore a very quick and easy way to fix 99 of these problems is just with some water so you get your canvas on the back side where there is no ink no finish no paint fine mist very fine mist spray youre going to spray it on the damaged area then youre going to get a towel and youre going to dab it i do not like water running down the canvas you dont need it to pool up you dont need that much even on the edges you can kind of mist it so it goes down in the cracks dab it dry and just let it dry from there now what happens here since its on the unfinished side is when the water dries out it shrinks the canvas and that should pull the dents pull it a little bit tighter and you should b
