Open the Settings app (using the Windows Key + I shortcut if you like). Select Devices > Printers & scanners. Find Microsoft XPS Document Writer in the list. Click it, then choose Remove device.

The XML Paper Specification (XPS), is an open document format that uses Extensible Markup Language (XML) and other industry standards to create a cross-platform document format. You can create XPS documents (. xps files) by using any program that you can print from in Windows.
Alternatively, you can also use this method. Go to Add a Local Printer → Create a New Port. Select Local Port → Next. In the Enter a Port Name field, type in XPS Port → OK. Select Microsoft in the Manufacturer list. Select the latest XPS Document Writer version → Next. Select Use the Driver that is Currently Installed.
You can convert an XPS document to DOCX ( see here and here ) but the DOCX will contain only the same information that was contained in the XPS - which means that there are no margins, no paragraphs, no headers, no footers, and possibly no text.
Right-click the Start or Windows button. Select the Control Panel. Select the Devices and Printers. Right-click on Microsoft XPS Document Writer and select Set as Default Printer.
For Google Drive users, upload the XPS file to your Drive. Then, double-click the file to open it. Alternatively, try an online XPS-to-PDF file converter to view the content as a PDF.
