If the concert venue or the musical artist has a mailing list, sign up. Oftentimes, theyll offer pre-sale tickets which can increase your chances of getting a limited front row spot. If youre willing to shell out a little more, you can also look into purchasing a VIP package that often comes with premium seating.
The second or third row is often better than the front row. If you want to choose the front row, consider sitting to the right or left instead of the center, as you will likely have a clearer view of the stage.
How to avoid being scammed The safest way to buy tickets is from an authorised ticket seller. If you are considering taking up an offer on social media, do your research. Look for secure payment options such as PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay instead of providing your credit card details to the seller.
General admission events may be ticketed with no assigned seat number, or it may be purely first-come, first-served, in which the first certain number of people in line are admitted (either as a free event, or paying at the door/gate).
In the 200 Level, rows are lettered from A (closest to field) to R (highest up from field). Seats are numbered consecutively with Seat 1 starting on the left if one is standing on the field looking up at the stands. The number of seats in each row varies by section and row.
Seat Numbers Row A will be at the bottom/first row in a section and will continue through the alphabet. Row AA is after Row Z at the top/last row in a section. Seat numbers will start with Seat 1 on the right side if you are sitting in the section and facing the stage.
I bought a display/shadow box frame from Hobby Lobby ($12) and some scrapbook paper ($1), then glued the paper to the back of the frame. Added a title with layered paper and put in all of my tickets Ive been collecting over the years. Instead of storing them a show box they now have a nice display.
Venues are generally split into sections (areas within the stadium or venue), then each section is divided into rows of seats, row 1 or A being in the front of the section. This makes it easy to assign seating for a concert or event, and the closer rows are usually more expensive than farther rows.
