Mailboxes are the most common recipient type used by information workers in an Exchange organization. Each mailbox is associated with an Active Directory user account. The user can use the mailbox to send and receive messages, and to store messages, appointments, tasks, notes, and documents.
Use Exchange Online PowerShell to assign the Send on Behalf permission to mailboxes and groups. You use the GrantSendOnBehalfTo parameter on the various mailbox and group Set- cmdlets to manage the Send on Behalf permission for mailboxes and groups: Set-Mailbox.
Work with role groups Choose a name for your role group. Select the roles you want to add to the role group. Add members to the role group. Save the role group.
In the Exchange admin center, go to Recipients > Groups. Select the group that you want to allow users to send on behalf of. Select Settings > Edit manage delegates. In the Add a delegate section, enter the email address of the user that you would like to have Send as access.
The attempt to complete a MailTips lookup fails if the From address that you specify isn't associated with a mailbox in the current user's forest when you use Outlook. The MailTips feature tries to complete the lookup under the security context of the user in the From address.
Out of office – this MailTip type is probably one of the most often to be seen. The notification shows up when the recipient has automatic replies turned on. It informs that an automatic reply will be sent back and shows its contents.

When composing a message click on the From in the drop-down box and select Other E-Mail Address. Type in the email address here that you wish to Send As and click OK. The next time you compose a message the Alternate Email Address will be available from the From Drop Down Box.
The MailTip indicates the recipient has Automatic Replies turned on and also displays the first 175 characters of the automatic reply text. The MailTip is accurate at the time of display. If the message isn't immediately sent, the MailTip is updated every two hours.
