all right I wanted to give you some tips for the workshop thats coming up about how to deal with exhibits and when were thinking about exhibits really there are three ways to think about exhibits and prepare for them first youve got to have an idea of what the technical steps are and what I mean by that is really what the dance steps are from the time that you grab that piece of paper until you can move it into evidence and want to walk you through each one of those steps second I want to talk to you about what well talk about is the legal foundation I mean thats the place where we as lawyers live were worried about what are the magic words that we need to say over the top of the document to make sure that we can get them into evidence and get the maximum use out of them ideally what we want is not only for the legal foundation is to get them into evidence but presumably if we can get them back with the jury then we want to do what we need to do legally to get them back with the

Constant relative humidity above 70 % can cause mould growth and increase corrosion whereas relative humidity levels below 40 % may cause sensitive materials such as paper, parchment and textiles to become brittle. It is important not only to control relative humidity levels but also to minimise fluctuations.
In general, keep temperature between 60 and 70°F (15.5 and 21°C) and relative humidity between 40 and 60%, eliminating rapid cycling of temperature and relative humidity. Requirements for special objects and certain geographical areas may vary. Locate sensitive objects in the most stable locations.
Why is it important to monitor relative humidity? By far the biggest reason to monitor relative humidity is to control moisture around a final product. In most cases this means making sure that the RH never rises too high.
These typically incorporate a humidity controller (also called a humidistat or hygrostat) to give the required level of control.
Use dehumidifiers and air conditioners, especially in hot, humid climates, to reduce moisture in the air, but be sure that the appliances themselves don't become sources of biological pollutants. Raise the temperature of cold surfaces where moisture condenses. Use insulation or storm windows.
Many museums have set their relative humidity at 45% and gallery temperatures between 65 and 68 degrees Fahrenheit.
Humidity can be controlled by limiting sources of moisture (including reverse condensation, where moisture evaporates from damp materials), increasing temperatures, humidification or dehumidification, and by ventilation.
As the relative humidity indicates the moisture on the cathode surface, it is the more important factor when compared with absolute humidity.
Many conservators have conceded that their own museums cannot do better than 40%–60% RH and 15.5°C –25°C (60°F–77°F).
Air heating One of the basic properties of air is that its capacity to hold water vapour increases with temperature. Consequently, in winter, even if the outside air is very humid, once this is introduced into a heated dwelling (or museum, in this case), its relative humidity drops drastically.
