in this video im going to show you how to pull data from another sheet based on a criteria in google sheets and excel its pretty much going to be the same formula we may need a little bit of extra thing in there to make it really useful in excel but overall its going to be the same thing so lets say i have this worksheet and i want to grab only female from this column and basically filter the data on another sheet so ill basically just add another worksheet i will call it data pool and here what im gonna do im gonna start with a filter function equals filter im skipping the first row here because im gonna do headers there on top so ill do equals filter and then well go to our customers worksheet well basically just highlight this data not including the headers even though if you include headers its not going to be the end of the world comma and then after the comma were going to do the criteria so im going to select this column of genders a

Smartsheet is an online work execution platform in a familiar spreadsheet format, that is better than Excel in work management, collaboration, visibility, accessibility, and integrations.
Open the data you want to summarize. Then click insert and select pivot table. Then, Excel will open a new sheet with that data you have selected. Once the new sheet is created, you can click into the pivot table and arrange it in rows, columns, values, and filters.
Publish: If you want to share Smartsheet items with people who dont have Smartsheet accounts, you can send them a publish link. Published Smartsheet items are dynamic, so the data is always up to date. See Publish a Sheet, Report, or Dashboard for more information about publishing.
Only users who have been added to your Smartsheet account will be able to view the content. This does not include external users who have been shared as a collaborator to your Smartsheet item or to a workspace where your item may be stored.
To create an Excel dynamic reference to any of the above named ranges, just enter its name in some cell, say G1, and refer to that cell from an Indirect formula =INDIRECT(G1) .
A free user is someone who does not have a paid Smartsheet license. Free users have the ability to view and/or edit the items they have been shared to, but they do not have the ability to create their own items without a license.
How does Smartsheet work? Work in Smartsheet centers around sheets that contain information relating to a particular project or projects.
