If the smartphone refuses to send a picture message, check from the drop-down menu if the mobile data is switched on. If you are using Wi-Fi try temporarily disabling it and use cellular data. If you need to set your devices MMS settings manually, simply follow the below steps: Tap Apps. Tap Settings. Tap More Settings or Mobile Data or Mobile Networks. Tap Access Point names. Tap More or Menu. Tap Save. Tap the Home Button to return to your home screen.
If you arent using iMessage, you can use SMS/MMS. These messages are texts and photos that you send to other cell phones or another iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. SMS/MMS messages arent encrypted and appear in green text bubbles on your device. To use SMS/MMS on an iPhone, you need a text-messaging plan.
One reason why you MMS is not working on your phone is that there is an issue with the Messages app. You can try to fix that by clearing the Messages apps app data. On your phone, go to Settings Apps notifications Messages Storage. Tap on the option that says Clear Storage followed by Clear Cache.
Configure MMS settings On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app. Tap Cellular. Cellular Data Network. In the Personal hotspot APN field, enter h2g2-t . In each of the other 3 APN fields (Cellular data, LTE Setup and MMS), enter h2g2 . In the MMS Max Message size field, enter 23456789 . Restart the iPhone.
In the Messages app , you can send messages with photos and videos. You can also edit the photos and videos before you send them and share, save, or print attachments. To send SMS/MMS attachments on models with Dual SIM, you need to set up Dual SIM.
If the contact youre sending pictures to isnt on iMessage and MMS is disabled on your device, pictures would not be sent/delivered, but regular SMS text messages would go through. Whenever your iPhone isnt sending pictures via the Messages app, check that MMS is enabled.
Solution 1: Make Sure MMS Messaging is Enabled Otherwise, your picture message will not be delivered, no matter how much you try. Step 1: On your iPhone, go to the Settings and then click on the Messages. Step 2: Now, check if MMS Messaging is enabled. If not, then enable it and try again to send a picture.
