The HTML tag signifies a scrolling block of content containing text or images that move across the webpage either in the horizontal or vertical direction. Marquee is an animation effect for web pages that are used to create horizontal or vertical scrolling text and pictures.
The HTML element places a strikethrough (horizontal line) over text. Warning: This element is deprecated in HTML 4 and XHTML 1, and obsoleted in the HTML Living Standard. If semantically appropriate, i.e., if it represents deleted content, use instead. In all other cases use .
Is there a Word strikethrough shortcut? Select the text you want to strike through. Press Ctrl+D. A font dialog box will appear. Press Alt+K. The strikethrough feature should now be selected. Press OK. The text will now have a line through it.
In HTML, the element creates a line break. You can add it wherever you want text to end on the current line and resume on the next.
Just wrap the new tag around any text in your comment, and thats it! Once the comment is posted, the spoiler text is hidden by a gray background overlay.
The element is used to define a word break opportunity in a string of text. It is particularly useful when you wish to define word break opportunities in a long unbroken string of text that might otherwise break improperly.
In the same manner as underlining a text, you can do a strikethrough, where a horizontal line goes through the text. Strikethrough/line through can only be done in one way: STYLE=text-decoration: line-through. The style has to be used on a tag for text sections, e.g. , and .
The (Word Break Opportunity) tag specifies where in a text it would be ok to add a line-break. Tip: When a word is too long, the browser might break it at the wrong place. You can use the element to add word break opportunities.
