erase smarter letamp;#39;s open a new layer letamp;#39;s choose the brush tool and some random brush letamp;#39;s paint around so when we bend around sometimes weamp;#39;re going to do mistakes going over the face weamp;#39;re going to over the shoulder and we have two options we can go to the eraser tool and look for the brush that we used to create the same texture of eraser but thatamp;#39;s gonna take us some time or we can while we paint just press on the tilde key at the keyboard and it will erase with the same brush so we donamp;#39;t need to go to the eraser tool and look for the same brush

If Apple Pencil is set to Paint Only, then even if you activate the Smudge or Eraser tools your stylus will keep painting using the brush you have selected under the Paint tool. If this is whats happened, set Apple Pencil to Selected Tool and everything will work again.
One thing to check is the Actions menu (wrench icon) under Prefs Gesture controls. Tap the Smudge tab on the left there and make sure Apple Pencil is turned off. If that doesnt help, its possible its a hardware issue with your Pencil, as failing to Erase is one of the ways the problem can show up.
