Legal procedures for signature change When it comes to legal documents, you cant simply start signing with a new signature without proper authorisation. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may be required to inform relevant authorities, such as banks, government agencies, or legal representatives, about the change.
To add a digital signature, open your Microsoft Word document and click where youd like to add your signature line. From the Word ribbon, select the Insert tab and then click Signature Line in the Text group. A Signature Setup pop-up box appears. Enter your information in the text fields and click OK.
