all right hey guys so today well be talking about drawing revisions and so what is that so a revision is a change these are changes to drawings um and whenever theres a change to the part that needs to be noted on drawing that theres been a change revisions can be started by marketing so maybe somethings designed manufacturing makes a sample they go to marketing they bring into some customers and then based on the feedback marketing might say oh they like this but can you make it taller or wider change this or whatever so they might start the process manufacturing can also start the process by if theyre in the process of trying to make it say hey if you change this or this itd be easier to make um and so those are usually welcome changes or engineering could just have a new idea on how to do something and and make a change and thatd be a revision also so either one of those three places the places they usually start um but anytime that if a drawing has been made and then goes ou
