Click File Info Open Backups. In the Open Backup dialog box, double-click the folder of the notebook you want to restore, select the notebook section you want, and then click Open. OneNote now displays the Open Sections area, where you can review the pages in the section you just opened from your backup files.
The following steps can be taken to restore content: Navigate to the home page of the Canvas course in question. Add /undelete to the link and press enter (Navigating to that link). You will see a list of Canvas content that can be restored. Click the restore button for the content you wish to restore.

How to Recover Deleted OneNote Sections. If you accidentally delete a section of your notebook, dont worry its easy to recover. Just click on the File menu and select History. This will bring up a list of all the changes that have been made to your notebook, including any sections that have been deleted.
Restoring deleted pages and blog posts Open the Pages panel. In the pages panel, scroll to the bottom and click the trash can icon. In the trash can, hover over the page title and click Restore. Click Restore in the confirmation message. The restored page will appear in the Not linked section of your navigation.
In Canvas, deleted pages, files, and announcements can be recovered by typing /undelete after your course URL. This will bring up a Restore Deleted Items page, which will include a list of recent restorable items.
