To reset text formatting to default press Ctrl Shift Y (Mac: Command Shift Y). This keyboard shortcut resets: Faux Bold, Faux Italic, All Caps, Small Caps, Superscript, Subscript, Underline, and Strikethrough.
One way is to go to the Photoshop menu (Window Photoshop), and choose Reset Photoshop. Another way is to press the Ctrl + Shift + P keyboard shortcut, which will open the reset dialog box. In the reset dialog box, you can choose to reset all of Photoshops settings to their defaults, or just certain settings.
If you need to go back more than one step, use the Step Backward command instead: Choose EditStep Backward or press Option-⌘-Z (Alt+Ctrl+Z). Straight from the factory, this command lets you undo the last 50 things you did, one at a time.
Lets see how they can help us to make the most our of the past, present, and future in Photoshop! Time Travel While you can choose to use the History panel or the edit menu to travel through time, I find it easier to use the following shortcuts: Command + Z (Mac) | Control + Z (Win) steps back in time.
When things go wrong, sometimes the best option is to simply revert the file by selecting Revert from the File menu, or by pressing f12. This will undo any changes that youve made, and bring back your file to the way it was when you first opened it (or the last time it was saved).
Choose Edit Undo or use the keyboard shortcut Control + Z (Win) / Command + Z (Mac). How do I switch back to the legacy undo shortcuts? From the menu bar, choose Edit Keyboards Shortcuts. In the Keyboard Shortcuts And Menus dialog, select Use Legacy Undo Shortcuts and click OK. Restart Photoshop.
