A normal ePub ranges from about 300 KB to 1 MB.
You can split your e-book file into smaller files using tools like Calibre or Sigil, or by using the built-in features of some e-book formats, such as EPUB or MOBI. This can help you reduce the file size of each part, and make it easier for your readers to download and read your e-book.
Theyre actually just ZIP files with a defined set of files within. Removing some of these files, or modifying them, will reduce the EPUB when its repackaged, but depending, could easily break it. One thing you can do replace the cover image with a smaller or more compressed (in the case of a JPG) version.
The ePub Reader provides seven levels of font size for use, namely XX-Small, X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and XX-Large. The actual size associated with each font size level can be set through the Font Sizes Settings. The default font size is Medium.
In the editor, click on the Replace button located in the toolbar at the top of the page. A dialog box will appear where you can enter the word or phrase you want to replace, as well as the replacement word or phrase.
