A strong grant proposal should be clear, concise, and compelling. Make sure that you provide enough detail that the funder understands your project and can see that you have thought things through; but dont get too wordy. Your grant proposal should also tell a story that helps the funder relate to your project.
The abstract is the most important component of the proposal. Spend time developing the best possible title. If the length is not mandated, it should be no longer than one half to one page maximum. Use bolded subheadings.
