Log into your Salesforce instance. Select the lead or contact youd like to log a call for. Scroll down to the activity and select Log a Call. Now you can add the call detailsincluding the call date, summary, and other information.
Hi Ryan, go to Customize - Activities - Task Fields. You can add and remove new picklist values to the Subject field on this page. If you want to add you can use the above steps, go to Customize - Activities - Task Fields.
Click Mobile Lightning Actions at the top panel then drag the Log an Activity action to the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section, also remove the Log a Call action if exist. Click the Save button when done.
Click on Edit list of task types (or Task Fields on the left). Click on Subject. Under the Task Subject Picklist section, you will see all the drop down options. To add a new Subject option, click the New button.
Lightning Experience by dragging the Log a Call action from the Mobile Lightning Experience section of the page layout editors palette to the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section of the page.
Login into SFDC. GoTo Setup-Activities-Activity Custom Fields. Create new custom field(here its a picklist) by clicking on New Button. Once you create custom picklist fields than goto Setup - Activities - Task Page Layout. Add custom field under appropriate task page layout and click on Save button.
Click Mobile Lightning Actions at the top panel then drag the Log an Activity action to the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section, also remove the Log a Call action if exist. Click the Save button when done.
