we are in Microsoft Word 2016 and Im going to show you how to remove a header you can see here that we have a header it just says type here at the top and this one at the top says this is different because we did that in an earlier video so if we want to remove a header just go ahead and click on insert and then you can click on header and then you can right-click anywhere you want and choose remove content control this is the fastest way to do it and then click close header now the header is gone lets go down to the next page we can see we did a different header for that particular page so we can get rid of that as well and click header and any one of those and choose remove content ctrl click close header and so that removed it from the second page so you can individually remove all these different ones if youd like just by clicking on the header now if you want to remove them all at once you can uncheck the different first page option and click remove content control and click c

Delete the AMI and its associated snapshots using the AWS Console ^ Navigate to the EC2 Console. Select the AMI you want to remove, and click Actions. Choose Deregister, then click Continue. Note: Before you deregister the AMI, make sure youve copied its ID. On the left menu, choose Elastic Block Store Snapshots.
Update AMI Navigate to AWS Console Services EC2 Auto Scaling Launch Configurations. Select a LC Copy launch configuration. Click Edit AMI. Click Create launch configuration.
Delete an image Select the check box next to the Version for any image that you want to delete. You can select more than one image version at a time. At the top of the Image build versions panel, choose Delete version.
To delete a snapshot using the console Open the Amazon EC2 console at . In the navigation pane, choose Snapshots. Select the snapshot to delete, and then choose Actions, Delete snapshot. Choose Delete.
Choose the name of the instance for which you want to delete automatic snapshots. On the instance management page, choose the Snapshots tab. Under the Automatic snapshots section, choose the ellipsis icon next to the automatic snapshot that you want to delete, then choose Delete snapshot.
There is no cost to make an AMI itself, but if youre making it from a running instance you will pay the fees for running a micro instance (which is about $0.02/hr, depending on availability region - see the pricing details) and also fees for using the EBS root for however long you use it.
Snapshots are best for data backups, they are cheaper, and incremental snapshots are possible too. Images are best for infrastructure re-use, such as exporting a VM image for use in a different project or as the basis for a Managed Instance Group.
EBS Volume = think of it like a hard drive you can attach to an EC2 instance. Snapshot = a point in time copy of your volume. AMI = a copy of a full instance.
A custom AMI can improve provisioning times when instances are launched in your environment if you need to a lot of software that isnt included in the standard AMIs. Using configuration files is great for configuring and customizing your environment quickly and consistently.
Create an AMI from an Amazon EC2 Instance Right-click the instance you want to use as the basis for your AMI, and choose Create Image from the context menu. Create Image context menu. In the Create Image dialog box, type a unique name and description, and then choose Create Image.
