As a Teams Administrator, you can adjust the default duration for Teams Meeting Recordings. Here is how to achieve this. Scroll down to Recording transcription section. There, you will be able to either disable meeting recording expiration altogether or change the default expiration duration.
Double-click any meeting in the series. Click The entire series, and then click OK. Click Recurrence. Under Range of recurrence, click End by, and then enter a date prior to the next meeting in the series.
Update a meeting Double-click the meeting on your calendar to open it. Change the location, start and end times, attendees, message, or other options. On the Organizer Meeting or Meeting tab, click Send Update.
Manage team. Then, select Settings Team Expiration. From there, you can select Renew now, or just check for the teams expiration date.
Removing Expiration Dates from Microsoft Teams Recordings Open the recording in SharePoint. Open the Teams chat for the meeting that was recorded. Click the three horizontal dots next to the recording thumbnail. Click the info icon to open the file properties. Click on the expiration date and select Remove expiration.
Select from the menu options to extend the expiration. Options include Extend by 7 days, Extend by 30 days, Extend by 60 days and Select a date. Or set the video recording to No expiration so that the video never expires.
To do this, select the item on your Calendar or double click on the appointment or meeting to open it in its own window and choose: In the Tags group on the Appointment or Meeting tab, click the Private button with the lock icon (next to the Categorize button).
Some Teams video recordings you own may be set to expire, sending the video to the recycling bin. If your video recording expires, you will receive an email message stating the recording has expired and has been sent to the recycling bin. You have 90 days to restore expired videos before they are permanently deleted.
