The fact is that MacBooks are beautiful and sleek but they have no lock slots anymore they did away with them about the time that the Retina came out because they got so thin that there was no room for a slot left. So we came up with our own patented designs and Iamp;#39;m going to show you the Ledge today and Iamp;#39;m gonna use one MacBook to kind of show you the whole line of it. The earlier models when they first came out have like a one-piece design and itamp;#39;s really straightforward they call it the Ledge because itamp;#39;s got a little edge here and it hangs on like a ledge okay and on the originals you just drop them into place and then you drop in a screw on the side and add yourself a lock slot. And in the later models they actually had in the 13 inch where they donamp;#39;t even have anywhere whether you can attach to it

Option 2: Certified Mail USPS Certified Mail is your next-safest option to Registered Mail. Though the security isnt nearly as comprehensive, you still have to drop off the item in person. Its the same on the other end, as well; the package must be signed for at delivery.
You can lock your Social Security numbersometimes referred to as freezing your SSNin a couple of ways. The easiest way to lock your SSN is by calling the Social Security Administration to block electronic access. Or, you can apply a Self Lock on E-Verify to stop anyone from using your SSN to apply for a job.
The Social Security Number Fraud Prevention Act of 2017 restricts the inclusion of the SSN on any document or package sent by physical mail, unless required for specific reasons.
If you need to share your social security number for a legitimate purpose, here are some safer alternatives to text messaging: Call the person or organization directly (youll still need to verify their identity) Share it in person. Use a secure online portal. Send it via encrypted email.
Also, be careful about sharing your number, even when youre asked for it. You should ask why your number is needed, how itll be used, and what will happen if you refuse. If you know your Social Security information has been compromised, you can request to Block Electronic Access.
The first time that you verify your identity, you might be asked for this information: Your full name. Your Social Security number. Your date of birth.
