Select the Design tab: Near the right end, select Slide Size, and then click Custom Slide Size. In the Slide Size dialog box, select Portrait, then select OK.
With the slide selected, navigate to the Format tab in the PowerPoint ribbon. In the Arrange group, youll find various options for manipulating the selected slides orientation. If rotate option is not directly availbale headover to Design tab.
How to rotate a PowerPoint slide Open the design tab. Select slide size Choose your desired slide orientation. Click on maximize or ensure fit Only rotate if necessary. Consider a different image or insert. Choose high-quality images and inserts. Save your work frequently.
Set the slide size and orientation On the File menu, click Page Setup. Under Size, select an option from the Slide sized for list. If you select Custom, enter sizes in the Width and Height boxes. Under Orientation, choose an orientation for both your slides and any notes or handouts you plan to print.
With all slides selected, go to the Home tab on the ribbon. In the Drawing group, click on the Arrange dropdown menu. Choose Rotate and then select Rotate Right 90 or Rotate Left 90 depending on which direction you want to rotate the slides.
On the Shape Format tab or Picture Format tab, in the Arrange group, click Rotate. If you dont see the Shape Format or Picture Format tabs, make sure that you selected a text box, shape, WordArt, or picture. The Rotate button could be hidden if your screen size is reduced.
To create a presentation containing slides in two different orientations, you need to create two versions of the same presentation one in landscape and one in portrait and then link them together.
