many years ago I wanted to generate some ODT documents and so I decided to create a program that would generate them so letamp;#39;s look at how an ODT document is actually structured so I have this ODT document right here in place and itamp;#39;s currently open basically I just listed a few different things I put bold italics underline strikeout rate green blue and then I put some backgrounds right here so that you could see what things look like you can also look at the properties right here and you can look at these descriptions I put in here so title subject keywords last things so we can see how this all works and how how it looked so generally when you create open document text files for LibreOffice or for OpenOffice what youamp;#39;re really creating is a zip file with a bunch of XML documents inside it so if you wanted to see whatamp;#39;s inside of it you can rename this document to a dot zipped file extension and you can see it wants to know if I want to do that and Iamp

Place the cursor at the end of the wording on your landscape page, select the Page Layout tab. Click on the down arrow at Breaks and scroll down to Next Page. To make your next page portrait click on the Page Layout tab, click on the down arrow at Orientation and choose Portrait.
Just in case, Ill sum up my above post: Insert a placeholder image in your ODT template. Position it the way you like the final Image to appear. Name the image. Use the Java-Code I posted above to substitute the placeholder by.
Change orientation of whole document To change the orientation of the whole document, select Layout Orientation. Choose Portrait or Landscape.
Select the menu Format : Page Properties , in the dialog that pops up, select the tab Page , There in the field Orientation you can select the radiobutton Portrait or Landscape .
Rotating a picture Open a new Draw or Impress document (File New Drawing or File New Presentation). Insert the image you want to rotate. Select the image, then in the drawing toolbar (shown by default at the bottom of the window in Impress and Draw), select the Rotate icon from the Effects tear-off toolbar .
Select the object you want to rotate. On the Mode toolbar in LibreOffice Draw or on the Drawing bar in LibreOffice Impress, click the Rotate icon. Move the pointer to a corner handle so that the pointer changes to a rotate symbol. Drag the handle to rotate the object.

Click on the Page Tab -- change from Portrait to Landscape. Save. Now you just need to insert page break using Insert Manual Break Page Break change the Style to landscape and click okay. And there you have a landscape page.
