hey there folks Lane with Windows 10 update calm here just here to show you a really quick trick that will enable you to use special symbols and special characters right there within Windows anywhere you are now traditionally youamp;#39;d have to know some complicated keyboard shortcuts in order to use certain symbols either that or needs to be built inside of the software so for instance in Microsoft Word you can go to the insert tab and you can find any symbol that you need there however there are there is rather an easier way to do this for most symbols and there are some applications which donamp;#39;t have this feature built in like the web browser so if youamp;#39;re creating a document on the web and you donamp;#39;t have a way to enter a symbol youamp;#39;re going to need to have a different a different option so the easiest way to do that is actually to come down here to your task bar right click and then say show touch keyboard button now I have this enabled already and

Use the Character Viewer to search for and insert emoji, symbols, characters from other languages, and more. -E, or choose Edit Emoji Symbols. Click a character or symbol to add it to your text (or double-click it if the Character Viewer is expanded).
For example, for you would press Ctrl + ` , release and then type e. To type a lowercase character by using a key combination that includes the SHIFT key, hold down the CTRL+SHIFT+symbol keys simultaneously, and then release them before you type the letter.
The key next to return with quotation marks uses a type set mark - true apostrophes are curved. So to get a true apostrophe, you have to use short keys Option + Shift + ].
Using the Alt Code Ensure your Num Lock is on. Hold down the Alt key. While holding the Alt key, type 0233 on the numeric keypad. Release the Alt key, and voil, the appears!
If you are typing on a Mac: Long press on the key you want until the special characters option appears on the screen. In this case Ill long press on e and this is what happens: Next select your special character by pressing the corresponding number. Ill press the number 2 to select the character.
Enter special characters and symbols Click in the text where you want to place the character, then choose Edit Emoji Symbols (or press Control-Command-Space bar). The Character Viewer appears where you clicked. To locate a character, do any of the following: Click a character to insert it in the text.
The Traditional Way to Type Accented Letters on a Mac Option + e, a. Option + e, Shift + a. Option + e, e. Option + e, Shift + e. Option + e, i. Option + e, Shift + i. Option + n, n. Option + n, Shift + n.
For example, to type , hold option key while typing e, then release both and type e again. To type accents on capital letters, add shift to the final step.
