welcome everyone to another video i just want to quickly walk you through some easy steps on how to zip and unzip files here in windows 10 and the use case for this is if you have a long list of files that you want to share for example you want to send via email this is a great way to compress them down to make it easier to send as well as to get around limitations on size now iamp;#39;m going to show you how to do this natively in windows 10 so you will not need to download or anything what you will need to do is locate the files that you want to compress and then just go ahead and click and drag to select all of them or you can hold down the control button and just click on each individual file till they are all selected once you have that just go ahead and right click on one of them and youamp;#39;ll notice if you go down to send to there is a compressed zip folder option just go ahead and click on that and then itamp;#39;s going to create a new folder here so if i right click on

Select the first document and click from menu: File Scripts Guides Copy. Then select the second document and click from menu: File Scripts Guides Paste.

To zip (compress) a file or folder Locate the file or folder that you want to zip. Press and hold (or right-click) the file or folder, select (or point to) Send to, and then select Compressed (zipped) folder. A new zipped folder with the same name is created in the same location.
Right-click on the file or folder. Move your cursor over the Send to option. This will open a new submenu. Select Compressed (zipped) folder. To place multiple files into a zip folder, select all of the files while hitting the Ctrl button.

You can copy and paste selections using the Move tool or the Copy, Copy Merged, Cut, Paste, or Paste Into Selection commands in the Edit menu. Keep in mind that when a selection or layer is pasted between photos with different resolutions, the pasted data retains its original pixel dimensions.
