To get an OTP code, a user typically needs to enter their phone number or email address when prompted by the service they are trying to access. The service will then generate a code and send it to the users device. Depending on the service, the code may be sent via SMS, email, or even an in-app notification.
Your PIN is the four-digit number chosen by you when you registered for Online Banking or Telephone Banking. It may be a different number from the PIN (Personal Identification Number) that you use at cash machines or ATMs. Your password is the one you chose when you registered for Online Banking or Telephone Banking.
MPIN: MPIN is the Mobile Banking Personal Identification Number which is Customer generated four (04) digit code used for making financial non-financial transactions such as through NBP Digital-Mobile Banking Application NBP Internet Banking and must not be shared with anyone.
A: Call NBP Help Line: +92-21-111-627-627 to get your Mobile Banking User ID blocked /de-activated.
Using USSD code Dial *99# from your phone. Select the option of Generate MPIN. Enter the last six digits of your debit card and its expiry date and click on Send. You will get the option to input the new MPIN.
A: To activate your Debit Card through NBP Mobile App, follow the steps mentioned below: Step:1-Logon to NBP Digital Mobile App access Debit Card Management tab from home screen. Step:2- Tap on the Card you want to activate from list of the Cards displayed.
Passwords: Login Password one-time password used for non-financial transactions. One-time Password (OTP) System generated alphanumeric code which is used for identification of a genuine customer for non-financial transactions (sent via SMS Email). Bank/NBP: National Bank of Pakistan.
The full form of MPIN is Mobile Personal Identification Number. It is a 4 or 6-digit code required for authentication on mobile banking and payment apps. It plays a docHub role in ensuring the security of financial transactions conducted through mobile devices.
For using NBP Internet Banking services you just need to have following details: 14 Digit Account Number (4-digit Branch code 10-digit Account number) ATM/Debit Card PIN. Registered Mobile Number*
After registration, you will receive an OTP (One Time Password) in two (2) parts; the 1st part will be sent on email and the 2nd part through SMS on your registered mobile number. Enter both parts of OTP and Click on PROCEED TO LOGIN button.
