hey theres Brooks here from documents not calm and today were going to be talking about password protecting PDFs on the Mac ok so I have a PDF open and Im opening it in preview which is the application on the Mac that will let you open images and documents and all sorts of things so what we want to do is we want to make this lock so that no one else can open it unless they have the password so theres a bunch of different ways in application to do that but Im going to do it using the free preview thats built-in so what were going to do is were going to go up to file and print and instead of printing it were going to go down here to where it says PDF and were going to click that and were going to choose save as PDF so were going to resave it as another PDF so the normal thing comes up you know asking you where you want to save it but theres this box here which you may not have noticed before called security options so before we save the file Im going to click that and you
