However not everybody knows all the different things that it can do. Let me start off with a simple one. You can get the word count of your document by simply going to View, then Show Word Count or Shift Command W. This brings up the word count at the bottom of the screen. It tells you the word count of the entire document. But if you select some text it will tell you the word count of just that selection. If you click here you can see the character count with or without spaces, words, paragraphs, or pages. You can switch to one of those to be the default. Now heres something

On the toolbar go to Comments Tab Sanitize. Select the comment properties you would like to remove or replace. Select to anonymize all comments or only comments from a specific author. Click apply to make the changes.
To view, edit, or delete your comment, do one of the following: Open or close a comment: Move your pointer over or away from the object, table cell, or highlighted text. Edit a comment: Open the comment, click in the text, then type. Delete a comment: Click Delete at the bottom of the comment.
With your document open in Pages on Mac, click View Show Invisibles from the menu bar. You should immediately see the formatting symbols in your current document. To delete all the comments in the document, go to the Review tab, click the down-arrow on Delete, and choose Delete All Comments in Document.
Reply to a comment or edit your reply Click the comment marker (or move the pointer over highlighted text). Do any of the following: Add a reply: Click Reply at the bottom of the comment, type your reply, then click Done. You can add as many replies as you like.
Track changes to text If you need to make changes that you dont want to be tracked, move the Tracking slider in the review toolbar to Paused, make changes, then turn it back on. , then choose Turn Off Tracking.
To view, edit, or delete your comment, do one of the following: Open a comment: Click the comment marker (or move the pointer over the highlighted text). Edit a comment: If youre the comments author, open the comment, click in the text, then type.
