Hello everyone, its Sam over here. In this video, Im going to show you how to make an engraved effect in Photoshop. To get started, make a new document, go to File New set your image size to your liking. And here I set the resolution to 300 pixels/inch and with RGB color mode. Click Create. Now, drag the wood texture background image onto the canvas. Overlap the top-left corner of the background image right onto the top-left corner of the canvas. Then resize it by pressing and holding your SHIFT key and stretch out the handler. You can also resize it by pressing and holding ALT-SHIFT keys while stretching one of the corners. Click this checkmark to confirm the changes. Change the name of the wood texture image to Background. And delete the white background. Lets drag the subject image onto the canvas.
