so what im going to talk about here is how we can use the icon set in conditional formatting the green and red arrows here on this green yellow red choice and how we can change it to show a green arrow when the number is positive and a red arrow when the number is negative and so ive gone ahead with i got four numbers here and got two one positive and one negative over here and ive just applied these right out of the box and you can see that on this negative one down here we have a green arrow and so we have to figure out whats going on so were going to manage rules edit rules and we can see that uh its not applying this based on just if its positive green if its negative red its applying this based on a thirds so if its in the upper third its going to give it a green arrow if its in the middle third its going to give it a yellow arrow and then if its in the bottom third its going to give it a red arrow so we have 33 and then 67 percent here and so its designed to have
