Edit a form Step 1: Open your form (if not open already) On the File tab, click Open. Step 2: Show the Developer tab on the ribbon. Right click on any of the ribbon commands. Step 3: Add/edit controls on your form. On the Developer tab, click Design Mode, and then add/edit the controls you want.
Adjust the text box margins Click the outer edge of the text box to select it. On the Shape Format tab, click Format Pane. Click the Shape Options tab if it isnt already selected. Click the text box icon. , and then click Text Box. You can adjust the left, right, top, and bottom margins.

You can modify text boxes and other shapes using the controls under the contextual format tab. If the document is in compatibility mode, save a copy and try updating it to the latest format File Info Convert.

Tip: To make sure that you dont forget to update your table of contents before you print the document, set Word to update fields automatically before printing.
