Click the Adjustment button at the bottom of the Layers panel, then choose the desired adjustment. The adjustment layer will appear, and you can then customize the adjustment in the Properties panel. Any changes you make will affect every layer below the adjustment layer.
To affect only one layer or several successive layers below the adjustment layer, choose Layer New Adjustment Layer [adjustment type]. In the New Layer dialog box, select Use Previous Layer to Create Clipping Mask, and then click OK.
In the Layers panel, select the layer containing the mask you want to edit. Click the Mask thumbnail in the Layers panel. Select any of the editing or painting tools. The foreground and background colors assume default grayscale values when the mask is active.
You just need to make sure that the part you want to edit resides on the layer you plan to edit. Open the multilayer image that you want to edit in Elements. To edit the image in docHub Photoshop: Select the image you want to edit. Right-click the image, and select Edit With Photoshop. Edit the image. Choose File Save or File Export (depending on the image type) to save the edited image. Choose File Exit to close docHub Photohop.
Do one of the following: Choose Select All to select all of the pixels in the layer, and choose Edit Copy. Drag the layers name from the Layers panel of the source image into the destination image. Use the Move tool (Select section of the toolbox), to drag the layer from the source image to the destination image.
